    For those who don’t know WBU:
    West Belt United is a Vienna-based collective of musicians dedicated to solely improvised groove music.
    „Groove Club“ is one of the oldest sessions in town (15 years now)!
    Every second Thursday, musicians and music lovers meet after their concerts and jam together late into the night.
    And if you just want to listen, you’re very welcome to enjoy this amazing music.
    WBU is THE after-hour jam session in Vienna. It starts at 22:00, and you can play until 3:00.
    And even the openers are completely improvised!

    So grab your instrument and join! Learn from the best musicians in the city and network within the scene.

    An diesem Abend feiern wir das Release unseres 3.Albums “Willkommen im OKMAland” & gleichzeitig unser 20 jähriges Band-Bestehen!!!
    Ein DJ-Set beladen mit Okma´s Raps und seiner frechen Schnauze, sowie Relups´s soliden Beats und seinen gekonnt live-gespielten Synthesizern. UND: Special guests vom Album und der Zeit davor 😉

    HYKO DUBZ wird uns gekonnt mit passender Party DJ-Line bei Laune halten.
    in unterhaltsamer Mix aus Sozialkritik und Partystimmung!

    Okma & Relups präsentieren sich auf der Bühne unverfrohren und echt; mit einer inklusiv-interaktiven und spontan-impulsiven Show. Dabei trifft elektronisch-tanzbare Partymusik auf HipHop. Okma & Relups zeichnen sich dadurch aus, dass Okma mit Trisomie 21 zur Welt kam und Relups Musiktherapeut und musikalischer Assistent (http://musikalische-assistenz.at) ist. Die beiden stehen seit 2006 federführend für die Gleichstellung geistig beeinträchtigter Menschen in der Kulturlandschaft Österreichs ein.
    Unter dem Namen „Willkommen im OKMAland“ wird im nun das 3.Album von Okma & Relups veröffentlicht. Das Album behandelt alle Themen, mit denen sich Okma als MC mit geistiger Beeinträchtigung (Trisomie 21) im täglichen auseinandersetzt – echt, roh und unzensiert! Da wir Inklusion leben werden auch Gastmusiker & Rapper zum Mitmuszieren eingeladen. Auf dem Album haben wir Features von Skero (Texta), Strizi Streuner (Frittenbude), Sugar B (FM4 Swound

    Family Tree

    Founded back in 2019, the Family Tree sound system has been hosting more or less private dances around Vienna for many years, sporting a healthy, musical mix of Dub, Jungle, Dubstep, Drum & Bass and similar musical territories. Made up of literal family members (three brothers & cousin) – they’ve long found their way into the heart of our crew. It’s high time to welcome them for a showcase of their high-grade selection on our sound system in the heart of Vienna!

    Subversion Sound

    Subversion Sound is a Dub-Duo from Linz, which has been active since 2023.
    What began as a passion for collecting dub records and dancing at sessions has evolved into a project dedicated to spreading heavy dubplates from around the globe. From roots to progressive steppers, with a focus on heavy bass music from the entire dub universe! Subversion Sound is strictly anti-fascist! No compromise!

    Good sound is good for you! The crew’s vision of operating a sound system dates back to a decade ago, learning the craft and science as well as getting to build the first loudspeaker prototypes. As the years went on, the ambition never ceased its firm grip, finally being manifested in 2022 with a completed rig, and playing first dances around Austria. By now having grown to a full stack, this bespoke, moderately sized earthquake generator is operated by dedicated operators & selectors, bridging the gap from everything in between rare vintage Reggae cuts and modern influences – strictly vinyl

    Garage rock/Alternative rock

    – Die Wiener Band KONG FUSION, bestehend aus Jenny Gitschner („Hirngspinster“, „Das schottische Prinzip“), Thomas Hammerl („The Hyena“) ,Christoph Mooser („Reverend Stomp“) und Elias Fleischer („hirngspinster“) verschmelzen den Dreiklang aus Garage Rock, Psychodelic Blues und verträumten Melodien mit
    kräftigen rollenden Beats. Ihre Auftritte sind voller roher und wilder Dynamik, die die Zuhörer auf die Reise eines Ikarus schicken, drohend in der Sonne zu
    verglühen. Mit einem Klang, der brüllt wie ein taumelnder King Kong auf einer Rasierklinge schlägt die Musik ein; ein Blitz in den Synapsen.

    – Rottweil ist eine Wiener Post-Punk-Band, die in ihrem kommenden Debütalbum „Caine Town“ urbane Mythen, zeitgenössische Abgründe und groteske
    Alltagsbeobachtungen düster, aber oft ironisch gebrochen, verdichtet. Musikalisch getragen von treibenden Basslinien, peitschenden Gitarren, kalten Synth-Flächen
    und einer rohen, zugleich komplexen Rhythmik entsteht ein direkter, spannungsgeladener Sound. Auch live fungiert „Caine Town“ als lose konzeptuelle
    Klammer für ein Programm, das von Ausgrenzung, Machtfantasien, sozialem Abstieg und kollektiver Verdrängung erzählt.
    Die Songs bevölkern eine Stadt der Gescheiterten, Getriebenen und Unangepassten – Figuren zwischen Angst, Größenwahn, Passivität und Überlebenswillen.
    Rottweil versteht Post-Punk dabei als zeitgenössisches Ausdrucksmittel: reduziert, dringlich und atmosphärisch, mit Fokus auf Wiederholung, Verdichtung und eine
    klare textliche Haltung. Die Stimme fungiert weniger als klassischer Erzähler denn als unzuverlässiger Beobachter einer brüchigen Gegenwart.

    Four knuckleheads from Linz and Vienna, Austria, came together in 2018 to form GRIPER. This fourpiece delivers no-nonsense rock n’ roll with a raw punk attitude. Their shows are loud, wild and sweaty. GRIPER has played clubs and festivals across Germany, Italy, Romania and Austria. In late 2025, the band released a self-titled EP.

    Founded in 2017, Bass Cave is a Vienna-based Drum and Bass collective dedicated to underground music and culture. Hosting events at various clubs
    in Vienna and collaborating with local and international DJs, they have established a unique presence in the drum and bass community. Musically,
    Bass Cave moves between rolling rhythms, deep sounds, techy beats and neurofunk, blending oldschool influences with modern styles.Their vision is to
    preserve the underground spirit of the genre while representing the roots and distinctive character of Drum and Bass.

    Sweetman bringt am 4.April 2026 frischen Indie-Rock-Sound ins LOOP. Frontman Dave Sweetman, früher Teil der steirischen Band Süssstoff, meldet sich mit einem neuen Sound zurück: Die dreiköpGige junge Band liefert pulsierende Beats, ehrliche Texte und jede Menge urbanen Vibe – egal ob melancholisch oder elektrisierend. Durch die Vermischung der unterschiedlichen Eindrücke der drei Musiker:innen entsteht ein ganz besonderer Cocktail an Sounds – zwischen ruhigem Indie und groovigen Latino-Vibes. Deutschsprachig, authentisch, mitreißend.

    Lighter on the Moon is a Vienna-based alternative rock band blending space rock atmospheres with punk-driven energy. Drawing from a wide range of influences, the four-piece moves effortlessly between genres, creating dynamic songs that balance raw intensity with expansive, melodic moments. Influences range from The Cure to The Rolling Stones and from Kraftklub to Kraftwerk. Their sound shifts between gritty alternative rock, driving punk rhythms, and spacey textures, making each release feel distinct while staying unmistakably their own. This versatility translates strongly to the stage, where the band delivers high-energy live shows with a tight, confident presence. Lighter on the Moon has released two singles and one EP, and has performed at major events such as Donauinselfest, alongside numerous gigs across Austria. The band is currently working on new material and preparing the next chapter of their sound.

    Finderlohn – Gegründet im Herzen Wiens, verbindet die Band österreichische Songwriting-Tradition mit modernen Indie-Klängen. Ihre Musik erzählt Geschichten aus dem Leben, gewürzt mit Humor und einer Prise Beislschmäh, der sie so authentisch macht und frischen Wind in die heimische Musikszene bringt.
