    FLINTA*S OPEN STAGE JAM SESSION
    Do you enjoy jamming with other people? Are there instruments or roles in a band you always wanted to try out?
    Or you just want to get to know other FLINTA* musicians?
    Then this event is for you – this FLINTA* (Female, Lesbian, Inter, Trans, Agender, * and everything in between) jam session is an opportunity to connect with other FLINTA* people about music, try new things, possibly create new band projects – and most importantly have fun!
    The goal is to create a space where we can uplift each other and help each other grow confidence in our improvising and jamming abilities and being on stage. There is no entry level – just you and your creativity. 🙂
    Come as you are, have fun, dance, listen and, if you want to, play!

  • Tantra Tagliatelle – Ein bunter Nudelsalat

    Tantra Tagliatelle – das ist mehr als nur ein Nudelgericht.
    Wie bei einer guten Pasta, die Raum für Kreativität lässt – von klassisch-traditionellen Rezepten bis hin zu überraschend neuen Geschmackserlebnissen – serviert Tantra Tagliatelle einen bunt gemischten musikalischen „Nudelsalat“.
    Musikalisch bedeutet das: Von den 60ern bis heute vereint die Band Soul, Blues, Popp, Jazz und Country zu einem abwechslungsreichen Mix, bei dem für jeden etwas dabei ist, das Herz und Beine gleichermaßen bewegt.

    Im Wechselspiel mit dem musikalischen Furioso von Klezmer, Balkan und bulgarischem Rembetiko, virtuos inszeniert von Nikola Zaric, Akkordeon, Efe Turmtay, Violine, und Maria Petrova, Perkussion, spielen WanDeRer auf zu ihrem neuen Programm mit Liebesliedern, love songs, chansons d’amour!

    For those who don’t know WBU:
    West Belt United is a Vienna-based collective of musicians dedicated to solely improvised groove music.
    „Groove Club“ is one of the oldest sessions in town (15 years now)!
    Every second Thursday, musicians and music lovers meet after their concerts and jam together late into the night.
    And if you just want to listen, you’re very welcome to enjoy this amazing music.
    WBU is THE after-hour jam session in Vienna. It starts at 22:00, and you can play until 3:00.
    And even the openers are completely improvised!

    So grab your instrument and join! Learn from the best musicians in the city and network within the scene.

    menü.24 tischt auf. Jazz in Knödlform gepresst, leicht versalzen. Gegessen wird, was auf den Tisch kommt. Musikwünsche á la carte werden nicht entgegengenommen. Serviert werden komponierte Formen und freie Melodien. Das Quartett kocht mit vierstimmigen Rubato Sätzen und windet sich durch verzackte Unisono Linien. Meditative Basslines, explosive Drumparts und singende Bläser heizen sich gegenseitig durch komplexe Formen und hochenergetische Improvisationen.
