Pop

Das Kollektiv Vienna Sound Club lädt zu seiner 5. Pop-Session.
Zuerst gibt es zwei Opener Bands, die jeweils aus SängerInnen, Rhythmusgruppe und Horn-Section besteht. Die Songauswahl soll einerseits überraschen, andererseits zum Shaken animieren.
Im zweiten Teil des Abends ist jeder herzlich eingeladen auf die Bühne zu kommen und mitzuspielen. Sowohl Texte als auch Leadsheets sind vorhanden. Feel free to join!

Seit 15 Jahren gibt es jetzt den international Jazz Day der Unesco unter der Schirmherrschaft von Herbie Hancock und zum zweiten Mal ist das Loop dabei.

ist eine Offbeat/Dub/Dance Formation, die sich Anfang 2019 in Wien gegründet hat. Die Leidenschaft zur jamaikanischen Musik sowie die Affinität zu anderen Musikrichtungen wie z.B. Die Schönbach-Sessions haben ihre Wurzeln im Jazzseminar Schönbach und bieten die Möglichkeit, regelmäßig gemeinsam zu musizieren, zu jammen, sich zu treffen und sich auszutauschen.

Zu den Schönbach-Sessions sind alle MusikerInnen eingeladen, die miteinander ohne Genregrenzen jammen und Musik kreieren wollen. Viefalt, Kreativität und Authentizität sind gefragt!

So be ready for vibrant jazz harmonies, blending deep grooves with the cinematic magic of Studio Ghibli soundscapes , and music built in real time together with the audience.
That’s not a listening session – that’s an experience. A musical tornado not to be missed 😀

West Belt United is a Vienna-based collective of musicians dedicated to solely improvised groove music.
„Groove Club“ is one of the oldest sessions in town (15 years now)!
Every second Thursday, musicians and music lovers meet after their concerts and jam together late into the night.
And if you just want to listen, you’re very welcome to enjoy this amazing music.
WBU is THE after-hour jam session in Vienna. It starts at 22:00, and you can play until 3:00.
And even the openers are completely improvised!

So grab your instrument and join! Learn from the best musicians in the city and network within the scene.
