Folk/Pop/Dark Pop
Anna Katarina is a Canadian-American singer-songwriter whose music exists where retro pop meets indie rock – with hints of country and soul. Hailed by *Exclaim!* magazine as „one of Canada’s most exciting new artists,“ her sound evokes the warmth of Laurel Canyon and the raw charm of 90s FM radio: vintage sounds frame catchy melodies and emotionally charged storytelling. Often compared to icons such as Stevie Nicks, Sheryl Crow, and Jewel, her voice is unmistakably unique. Her live show has taken her internationally – including at BreakOut West (Canada), Your Roots Are Showing (Ireland), the Sand & Strings Festival (Mexico), and the Folk Alliance International (USA). She has shared sold-out stages with artists such as Shawn Hook and Said The Whale. A growing fan base in Europe fuels their biannual tours of Germany and solidifies their presence on both sides of the Atlantic. Their second album *While I Was Dreaming* (October 3, 2025) captures the quiet transformations that occur in life’s in-between moments. The first single, „Riptide,“ was highly praised on *SiriusXM’s The Spectrum* by Simon Le Bon (Duran Duran).
SAEDI will support the young Canadian artist with a set of her newly cooked up songs and some of her last album „Token“. A collection of ballads, casual, lurking songs that turn corners with life experience. Saedi touches on jazz with languid elegance, transfers trip-hop characteristics into the structure, and incorporates it all into the ballad form.
