Foreign Ministry is a young international cover band born in the lecture halls of the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna. Brought together by their studies in international and diplomatic affairs, the band turns its cross-border chemistry into energetic live
performances and fresh takes on well-known hits.
From the elegant setting of Vienna’s Diplomatic Ball to crowd-pleasing shows in Slovenia, Foreign Ministry has already proven one thing: diplomacy sounds a lot better with a beat behind it.
This time, however, the music comes with a message.
The night at Loop Bar is organized by the Campaign to Stop Killer Robots (KRC) Austria to build momentum and raise public awareness ahead of the upcoming United Nations Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons (CCW) conference in Geneva.
As governments prepare to once again discuss the future of autonomous weapons, the evening brings the debate out of the conference room and onto the stage.
At its heart is a simple but urgent question: should machines ever be allowed to make life-and-death decisions without meaningful human control?
Expect live music, international energy and a night that connects a great show with a global call to action — because some decisions are simply too important to leave to algorithms.
