JANE BEE is a German reggae artist, selectress, MC, and songwriter whose musical journey is rooted in a lifelong passion for Jamaican sounds. Diving deep into reggae and dancehall culture in the late 1990s, she started out as a dedicated record collector and selector. In the early 2000s, she opened her own record shop, Saba Records, in Leipzig, and today she channels that same independent spirit into running her own label, WildEast.

In 2012, Jane stepped out from behind the record shelves and stepped up to the microphone. Developing her signature style as an MC and songwriter, she quickly connected with pioneering roots and digital dub producers like Jahtari and Naram, leading to her acclaimed Demo Tape and heavy clash-anthems like „Conquer Me“.Her versatility and distinct voice soon gained international attention, sparking high-profile collaborations. From teaming up with Bukkha on tracks like „End Of The Line“ and „DJ Mommy“ (Grand Ancestor Records) to voicing the haunting „River Nile“ for Tuff Scout Records, Jane Bee has cemented her place in the worldwide dub scene. Dubplate favorites like „My Crew“ have found a permanent home on her WildEast label, with highly anticipated new projects—including a 12″ collaboration with the legendary Warrior Queen—currently in the works.

Moving effortlessly between roots, dancehall, rub-a-dub, digital reggae, dubstep, and electronic club music, Jane Bee brings a unique sound system flavor from Leipzig straight to the global stage.
