urban echo collective bringt mit Eigenkompositionen sowie Neuinterpretationen bekannter Stücker einen frischen Wind in die Jazzszene Wiens. Die Bandmitglieder Arthur Nikolay (Vibraphon), Valentin Ak (Kontrabass), Robin Weber (Drums) und Nicolas Urban (Saxofon) sehen ihr Quartett als einen Ort, an dem sie sich musikalisch frei ausdrücken können – ganz nach dem Motto „Kunst ohne Grenzen“ schaffen sie genre-ablehnende Musik, welche mittels Improvisation und dem Spiel mit musikalischen Traditionen zu einem einmaligen Musikerlebnis kulminiert.

A dream nightmare montage of a visually manipulated sequence by Satyayit Ray (The Hero, 1966) leads to glorious cascades of rhythmic paintings.
